ACE +Habitat

We’ve spoken about ACE Mentor Program of the Bluegrass before, but this season’s program – at Lafayette High School’s Architecture & Civil Engineering class – is especially cool.

Students in the program this year are working with our local chapter of Habitat for Humanity (H4H) on a concept for multi-family housing – something the Lexington branch of H4H has never done.

Once again – i/A’s own Adam Gillett is leading a program that is not only teaching relevant and challenging skills – but also creating a mock project that is both relevant and promising in the real world.
