Vince GabbertVince GabbertVice Present & Chief Operating Officer, Keeneland Association

In every construction project, there are always moments when you feel like you have the right partners and members on the team or you become keenly aware that you, in fact, do not have the right people involved. For Keeneland, and through our partnership with Red Mile on the construction of a $42 million facility, that moment came very early for us and one that revealed quite clearly that our partners on the project, Integrity/Architecture, were exactly the right kind of partners for our construction project.

From the outset, and throughout the entire project, the team at Integrity was engaged and open to ideas, all the while keeping a keen eye for the goal of the project and providing a top-notch product in a one-of-a-kind facility for our entity and our community.

The level of participation and organization at our weekly construction meetings, to the meeting of deadlines, and honest feedback that we received throughout, was beyond reproach. They were always thoughtful in their approach to questions and answers and seemed to not only work well with but intertwine with all of our contractors and subcontractors.The fact that this was a unique facility and the first of its kind in the Commonwealth, let alone a first of its kind facility for Integrity, speaks even more volumes about the dedication and level of work they provided us. And when you couple that with the overall size and scope of the project, we could not be more pleased with the end product and the relationship we have developed with the team at Integrity.

I would highly recommend Integrity for any project, regardless of its size or implementation, and could not have any better things to say about their diligence, quality of work, and final product they produced for Keeneland and Red Mile.

Integrity has been extremely professional throughout the design of our Union Hall and has been more than accommodating to our needs and wishes.  They have the technology and knowhow to make adjustments to the building design or features with ease.  Integrity was able to present our membership with hard copies as well as digital images of our proposed building which allowed our members to really grasp how the finished product would look.  The staff at integrity is professional and any of the trade associates of Integrity we have dealt with have been just as accommodating.

Integrity has been involved in several new building projects for Madison County EMS. I have found them to be very professional and extremely easy to work with. A couple of our projects have been an architectural challenge due to difficult site conditions but they successfully maneuvered through the difficulties. I have been pleased with the final product. Integrity has an eye for creating a design that is not only visually appealing but actually functional for the end users.

I currently serve on the local House Corporation of the Delta Zeta Sorority at the University of Louisville.  In 2014 we undertook a project expand and renovate our sorority house.  The project doubled the size of our house and we went from housing eight members to occupancy of 16 women.  Integrity was recommended to our House Corporation by Richard Banta who, at the time, served as the Vice-President for Abel Construction in Louisville Kentucky. We were in search of an architect who was respectful of the fact that we had a limited budget for the house, working on a timeline and understood the nuances with renovating and expanding a historic home. We found Integrity to fill all of these requirements.  They were amazing to work with and we would highly recommend them for any architecture project.  In particular, we were pleased with the following;

  1. Creativity – they challenged us to look at the renovation in a different light and brought a fresh look to the project – a design that other architects did not provide.
  2. Resourcefulness – we were pleased with their ability to take advantage of every opportunity to make the most of our renovation.
  3. Collaborative skills – as our property is located on property owned by the University of Louisville – we were required to follow state and local building/expansion rules and guidelines.  At times, this became stressful due to the fact that we were renovating a historic home and the fire code requirements challenged our initial design plan.   Integrity did an excellent job negotiating the details of the many requirements – working with the State, the University administration and our House Corporation.

In closing, I would highly recommend Integrity.  We would hire them again if presented the opportunity!

Professional, creative problems solvers with great communication skills.  A talented group.
