Isaac Peck, A.AIA
As a project designer, I collaborate with project managers and principals at various stages of the design process. While aiding in the production of both technical and creative design work, I coordinate with team members and consultants from a wide breadth of disciplines. I have enjoyed the comprehensive exposure to methods of construction on all different scales that I have gained while supporting the team!
WORDS OF WISDOM
In both my professional and personal life, “adaptability” has become a very important theme. We often set an idealized “plan” for ourselves, but life has a beautiful (frustrating) tendency to unravel them! However, these obstacles do not have to be a crisis or a sign of failure. It may be painful or disappointing, but it is ok to adjust your expectations, or take an alternate path completely. We are a product of our experiences, and I think these all should be approached with an open mind. I have learned that life is full of imperfections and they are vital to our development. As designers, I believe that it is important for us to be cognizant of this to create a better world for everyone.
