JOE RASNICK, AIA
The vast majority of my time is spent in the earliest phases of a project. Most of the time you’d find me meeting with clients, collecting project information, researching clients and their projects, and ultimately creating a lot of the early conceptual design packages. I also manage the company brand and identity through marketing, project acquisition, and of course our web presence. I’m at my professional best when I’m diving headfirst into a new project – working feverishly toward some looming deadline(s).
WORDS OF WISDOM
I believe that, more than anything, this job requires passion. No matter what project type, scope, or scale, I try to find that aspect that I can believe in and get passionate about. When a client comes to you with a vision – it’s something they’ve been thinking and dreaming about for a while. It’s going to be difficult to understand that vision and do its design justice if you can’t be passionate about it. Whatever that piece of the project is that speaks to you – hold on to it, use it, and weave it into every part of the design process.
