Graves County Temporary Court Facility
Following the devastating and destructive tornadoes that tore through western Kentucky in December of 2021, integrity ARCHITECTURE contacted the Administrative Office of the Courts to offer assistance in rebuilding public buildings in the City of Mayfield.
Taking on this critical disaster relief effort, our team was tasked with renovating an existing building located in Mayfield, Kentucky, to serve as a provisional Graves County Court Facility. Working alongside Graves County staff, the resulting project houses courtrooms for both Circuit and District use with private breakout rooms for juries to deliberate. The Circuit Clerk’s area includes office spaces, public queuing, records storage, and a secure evidence storage room. Other dedicated areas include pretrial services, judge’s chambers, security offices, drug court areas, public restrooms and ample circulation throughout. The temporary facility also features prisoner handling areas that have a separate access point from the rest of the building.
