LCLT Community Center
This new single-story facility in Lexington’s Davis Park neighborhood serves as the headquarters for the Lexington Community Land Trust (LCLT) and provides space for resident services, neighborhood programming, and community gatherings. The building includes an open community room with a kitchenette, a flexible meeting room, a private office, accessible restrooms, and storage. A covered front porch provides additional gathering space and a visual connection to the surrounding neighborhood.
The building was designed with adaptability and long-term durability in mind. Its layout supports both public engagement and private work, allowing the LCLT to host events, offer services, and operate from a central neighborhood hub. Materials were selected to balance affordability with quality, and thoughtful site planning improved pedestrian access and strengthened the connection between the center and the surrounding homes.
