CEDAR CREEK TOWN HOMES
Cedar Creek, located in Pikeville, Kentucky, is one of the more established neighborhoods around the city. The neighborhood, built on fill material from the legendary ‘cut-through’ project which cut slices out of mountains in Pikeville during the ‘70s, is a mixed-plan arrangement of apartment and town home living options.
The site was a challenge, not only because of its odd tear-drop shape, but also because of the 100-foot-deep fill material that made up the buildable area. Site-workers engineered new fill in lifts in order to provide a more stable area of soil for the thirteen residential units.
