Fourteen years ago, integrity ARCHITECTURE was founded with a simple belief: great work is built on relationships, trust, and a commitment to doing things the right way. Since then, our firm has evolved tremendously.
We’ve expanded the services we provide to our clients, grown our team, put down roots in a space that better supports collaboration and creativity, and had the privilege of serving communities throughout Kentucky and beyond.
Along the way, we’ve added new layers of leadership, established dedicated practice areas, and continued investing in the people who make our work possible. Perhaps the most meaningful part of that evolution, however, has been watching our people grow.
We have proudly watched interns become professionals, emerging leaders become mentors, and individuals develop unique strengths that have undoubtedly shaped our culture, processes, and our work. As our people have grown, so too has our responsibility to ensure they have meaningful opportunities to continue growing.
We recognize that no two professional journeys are exactly alike. As our team continued to grow in experience and expertise, we saw talented individuals pursuing different strengths and contributing to our projects in equally valuable ways. The career paths that had supported our team in the early years of our firm needed to evolve alongside our people. Some team members were drawn toward project leadership and client relationships, while others found fulfillment in developing deep technical expertise. Both pursuits are essential to delivering exceptional work, and both deserve meaningful opportunities for growth.
Recognizing this, we evolved our Leadership Development Program to better reflect the many ways our people grow and contribute. We established two professional pathways designed to support individual strengths, and create opportunities for long-term growth. Today, those efforts are reflected in two clearly defined professional pathways that recognize the diverse ways individuals contribute to the success of our firm.
Our technical leadership pathway, through the Technical Specialist and Senior Technical Specialist roles, recognizes that technical excellence is its own form of leadership. It creates opportunities for professionals to deepen their expertise, strengthen the technical quality of our projects, mentor others, and serve as trusted resources whose knowledge and judgment help transform design intent into exceptional buildings.
Our project leadership pathway provides a clearer progression from Project Designer to Project Manager through the introduction of the Project Coordinator role. Designed for individuals who have demonstrated initiative and shown promise as future project leaders, this pathway provides greater clarity, intentional mentorship, and opportunities for continued professional growth.
Together, these pathways reflect our belief that meaningful careers are not defined by a single destination, but by recognizing individual strengths and creating opportunities for those strengths to flourish.
While these pathways are intended to support future generations of professionals, they are already taking shape through the accomplishments of five team members whose promotions represent the first milestones within this continued evolution. Their growth reflects not only their individual dedication and accomplishments, but also the trust, mentorship, and shared commitment that have shaped integrity ARCHITECTURE throughout the years. As some of the first individuals to assume these roles, they are helping define what these pathways can become for those who follow.
Jose Martos has been promoted to Senior Technical Specialist, recognizing his technical leadership and decades of expertise. He is a guiding force for our teams; his insight continuously challenging us to set the bar higher.
DeTroy Price has been promoted to Technical Specialist, recognizing his growing technical expertise and persistent drive to exceed expectations. His habitual desire to go above and beyond in terms of technical delivery is invaluable to our projects and clients.
Emily Clawson, Maggie Whitson, and Claudia Henning have each been promoted to Project Coordinator. Their promotions recognize their eagerness to grow professionally and willingness to embrace new responsibilities. As they take on expanded roles in project coordination and client service, they represent the next generation of leadership at integrity ARCHITECTURE.
As we look ahead, we remain committed to thoughtfully investing in our team and continuing to shape a firm where people can grow together. Because while projects, communities, and opportunities will continue to evolve, our greatest responsibility, and greatest privilege, will always be supporting the people who make it all possible.
