Churchill Downs is one of the oldest and most recognizable brands in American thoroughbred racing. In just the last few years, i/A has completed more than a dozen separate assessment and facility improvement projects including, but not limited to:

Security Office / Stable Gate for Back of Track Site Access for all Horses, Handlers and Owners
Equine Hospital / Trauma Center & Testing Lab
Full facility life-safety and code-compliance assessments of all public and back of house facilities
Backside master planning and reconfiguration
Quarantine barns for foreign/sick horse stabling
Backside kitchen, laundry, and lounge areas
Various other facility assessments and improvements

Churchill Downs operates “Derby to Derby” which requires rapid delivery of design documents and extremely thorough coordination between dozens of designers, engineers, and contractors with (in some instances) offices located across the country. i/A has established a reputation of being easy and efficient to work with, while maintaining a rapid pace for delivery of design documents.
